That's why we pursue a clear goal: to make knowledge accessible, explain correlations understandably, and develop products based on scientific findings and many years of experience.

KAMIDI wurde von Katharina und Michael Dirks ins Leben gerufen – aus der tiefen Überzeugung, dass professionelle PMU-Artistinnen Produkte verdienen, die genauso leidenschaftlich entwickelt werden, wie sie ihren Beruf ausüben. Der Name trägt uns beide in sich: Katharina, Michael, Dirks. Kurz, klar, und voller Herz.

Who are we?

  • Michael – When Science Becomes a Calling

    Michael is a chemical engineer and has been developing tattoo and PMU pigments for over 20 years. As a member of national and international expert committees – including the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) and the European Society of Tattoo and Pigment Research – he actively shapes the future of pigment development.

    After decades of developing pigments for other brands, the next logical step was to create his own brand. A brand where knowledge, experience, and the highest quality standards come together uncompromisingly.

  • Katharina – when beauty speaks volumes

    As a beauty photographer, makeup artist, and managing director of I AM INK FlexCo, Katharina combines creativity with practical experience. She understands how colors work on the skin and what PMU artists truly need in the studio. With this perspective, she ensures that our pigments not only convince scientifically but also in daily application
